After consulting with college and local health experts, Edison State Community College is suspending its participation in NJCAA-sanctioned indoor sports for the 2020-2021 season. Intercollegiate competition for women’s and men’s basketball and women’s volleyball will be deferred to next year. Inter-squad competition and team practices will continue in the spring of 2021 for these programs.
Nate Cole, Edison State Community College Director of Athletics and Student Life, was voted as the Michael Rickard OCCAC Athletics Director of the Year for 2019-20.

Eight Edison State Community College basketball players have been named recipients of post-season awards from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for the 2019-2020 season. Additionally, Edison State Women's Head Coach Tim McMahon has been named Coach of the Year.
The Edison State Community College basketball teams advance to the D-II District Tournament this Friday at Ohio University–Lancaster. The men's team (District 11) is seeded No. 3 and will play No. 2 Cuyahoga CC. The women's team (District 1) is seeded No. 1 and will face TBD.
