December 2, 2020 Edison State to Cancel Indoor Sports for Spring Semester After consulting with college and local health experts, Edison State Community College is suspending its participation in NJCAA-sanctioned indoor sports for the 2020-2021 season. Intercollegiate competition for women’s and men’s basketball and women’s volleyball will be deferred to next year. Inter-squad competition and team practices will continue in the spring of 2021 for these programs.

July 15, 2020 Lady Chargers Excel Both On and Off the Court The 2019–2020 NJCAA Women's Basketball team celebrates with six Lady Chargers leading the way by being named to the All Academic Team.
August 18, 2020 Drake Joins Edison State Volleyball Team Tiana Drake has signed with the Edison State women's volleyball team. Drake is a graduate of the Labrae High School in Leavittsburg, Ohio.
July 28, 2020 Edison State Earns Top Honor—OCCAC All-Sports Award Edison State Community College (D-II) has been selected as the 2019–2020 OCCAC All-Sports Award winner. This season marks the first for which this honor has been given to Edison State.
July 14, 2020 Scholar-Athletes of the Year, All-Sportmanship Team Announced The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named individuals from seven sports as the 2019–20 Scholar-Athletes of the Year. In addition, 23 OCCAC student-athletes earned a spot on the 2019–20 All-Sportsmanship Team.
