West Carrollton's McKinney Commits to Edison State

Kalen McKinney, a dual-athlete who comes from West Carrollton High School, has committed to the Edison State Community College men's basketball team. McKinney is a 6-foot-3-inch guard who averaged 18.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in high school. He shot 45-percent from the field and 37-percent from the 3-point line. He went on to help lead the Pirates to a 17-7 winning record, was named First Team All-MVL, and won the Division 1 Southwest Player of the Year award. He was the first player in West Carrollton history to be named All-State in basketball when he made Second-Team. McKinney played in the basketball program under head coach Anthony Parke.
