Buckingham Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College sophomore Madyson Buckingham (Ansonia HS) the OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for September 15, 2025. She becomes the third consecutive Lady Charger to earn the recognition.

The libero dug 64 balls, averaging 5.8 digs per set during a three-match week. Buckingham put up half a dozen digs per set versus Mott. She then came back with 40 digs and six aces during a doubleheader against Lake Michigan and Glen Oaks. She added two assists in the final contest for good measure.

The Lady Chargers are currently 12-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
