Luedeke Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College's Emma Luedeke (New Knoxville HS) the OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for September 1, 2025. This marks her second such honor, also being named the conference's Player of the Week on October 21, 2024.

The sophomore setter totaled 171 assists during a 5-0 week for the Lady Chargers and surpassed 1,000 assists for her career along the way. Her effort this past week also included 31 digs, five kills, three aces, and two block assists.

Luedeke's top statistical performance came against Hagerstown, when she not only hit the 1,000-career-assist mark but also posted a double-double with 43 assists and 10 digs during the four-set victory. She registered at least 27 assists in all five triumphs and dug five or more balls in four of the five contests.

The Lady Chargers are currently 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
