Bourne Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College sophomore Brooklyn Bourne (Celina HS) the OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for October 21-27, 2024.

Bourne and the Lady Chargers have rattled off 15 victorious sets in a row, including three straight sweeps over conference opponents. She posted 12 or more digs in three of the four wins while terminating a total of 36 kills, seven block assists, and six aces.

Bourne is now a three-time OCCAC Player of the Week after taking home the honor twice in 2023.

The Lady Chargers are currently 18-12 overall and 9-3 in the conference.
