Denise Schwieterman signed her letter of intent to join the Lady Charger volleyball team in the 2016 season. Schwieterman, a 6'2" senior from Coldwater High School, was a force to be reckoned with as a middle blocker for the Lady Cavaliers this past season. Her height gave her a leading edge over the competition leading her to numerous blocks and kills. Serving as a team captain, Schwieterman led her the Lady Cavaliers to finish second in the MAC and compete in District Finals. The Lady Chargers will look for her to continue to be a force in the front row and show her leadership on the court. As a student at Edison State, Denise will pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.
