Homan Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College sophomore Rylie Homan (Edgewood HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for February 9-15, 2026. She is now a four-time honoree with two awards as a freshman and two more as a sophomore.

Her dominant performance against Lorain County led to this most recent recognition, dropping in 31 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field, including a perfect 4-for-4 beyond the arc. She added seven rebounds and seven steals versus the Commodores as well. In two blow-out wins leading to just 49 minutes played, Homan totaled 33 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals.

The Lady Chargers are currently 16-9 overall and 7-5 in the conference.
