The Lady Chargers set the tone in the opening quarter, holding Terra State to just 10 points while scoring 19 of their own. Edison State continued to build momentum in the second quarter, extending the lead to 44-26 at halftime after shooting efficiently and controlling the glass.
Emerson Walker led Edison State with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while Sadie Larrabee posted a strong all-around performance with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Rylie Homan filled the stat sheet with 10 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, narrowly missing a triple-double.
Presley Reese added 11 points, and Oliveah Sanders provided a spark off the bench with nine points, knocking down three three-pointers. Edison State finished with a 47-31 rebounding advantage and recorded 21 assists on 27 made field goals.
The Lady Chargers shot 42.2% from the field and 86.7% from the free throw line, helping maintain control throughout the contest.
Edison State will look to carry their momentum forward as conference play continues on Saturday, February 7, against Lakeland at 1 p.m.
