Lady Chargers Complete Weekend Sweep with 91-71 Win Over Lorain County

The Lady Chargers built an early advantage, leading 23-15 after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Edison State outscored Lorain County in every quarter, including a strong 26-point fourth quarter to put the game away.
Jaela Johnson led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down four three-pointers to pace the Lady Chargers' offense. Presley Reese recorded 16 points and eight rebounds, while Rylie Homan filled the stat sheet with 13 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Sadie Larrabee added 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
Edison State shot a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line and finished with 22 assists as a team, showcasing balanced offensive execution. Defensively, the Lady Chargers forced 17 turnovers and controlled the glass with 41 total rebounds.
The Lady Chargers improved their overall record to 11-5 and their conference record to 3-1. They look to carry the momentum forward as they host non-conference opponent Community Christian College (MI) on Tuesday, January 13, at 5:30 p.m.
