The Lady Chargers set the tone early, jumping out to a 21-6 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 49-10 by halftime. Edison State continued its strong play on both ends of the floor in the second half, outscoring UNOH JV 41-12 to seal the victory.
Jaela Johnson led Edison State with 11 points, four steals, and five free throws made. Presley Reese added 14 points, while Emma Will chipped in nine points and two steals. Audrey Bean provided a spark off the bench with 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
Edison State showcased its depth, with 12 players scoring and the team forcing numerous turnovers through consistent defensive pressure. The Lady Chargers held UNOH JV to just 21.6% shooting from the field.
With the win, Edison State continued its strong start to the second half of the season as they prepared for another home matchup the following day.
