Hughes Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College sophomore Allison Hughes (Parkway HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for February 24-March 2, 2025.

Hughes posted 15 points and 13 rebounds in a 69-54 victory over Cuyahoga. She added three assists, three steals, and a block in 34 minutes of action. This is her fourth Player of the Week recognition this season and the seventh of her career.

The Lady Chargers finished the regular season 22-7 overall and 13-1 in the conference, clinching the OCCAC Women's Basketball Championship.
