Homan Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Rylie Homan (Edgewood HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for January 27-February 2, 2025. This is her second recognition of the season.

Homan showed up in a big way when her team needed it most—a 34-point burst in the battle with Hocking for first place. The Lady Chargers came away as 69-53 victors and now sit alone atop the league standings at 8-1. She swiped eight steals as well in that one, followed by five more steals in a road win at Terra State. Homan totaled 49 points (dropping in 10 of 16 three-pointers), 13 steals, seven rebounds, and seven assists in the two victories.

The Lady Chargers are currently 16-7 overall.
