Hughes Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) named Edison State Community College sophomore Allison Hughes (Parkway HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for December 3-9, 2024. Hughes picks up the fourth OCCAC weekly honor of her career and her first of 2024.

Hughes was a rebounding machine across three conference victories, racking up 47 boards for the week (15.7/game). She also contributed 37 points, five steals, two blocks, and an assist as the Lady Chargers raced out to a 4-0 start in OCCAC play.

The Lady Chargers are currently 8-4 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
