Homan Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) named Edison State Community College freshman Rylie Homan (Edgewood HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for November 18-25, 2024.

Homan becomes the second Lady Charger to receive the weekly recognition (Abby Yukon, November 11) in the season's first month. She was dominant in an OCCAC win, dropping 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range. In Edison State's second game, a 70-43 hammering of Henry Ford, Homan was a defensive menace with eight steals and steered the offensive ship to the tune of seven assists. For the week, she averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals while committing zero turnovers in 58 minutes.

The Lady Chargers are currently 6-4 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
