Bio

Tori Newland, a 5-foot-10-inch center, joins the Edison State women’s basketball team from Allen East High School. Newland was a four-year varsity letter winner who earned Second-Team All-NCW her sophomore and junior year. Following her senior year, she was named First-Team All-NCW, Second-Team All-District 8, and was selected to compete in the District 8 All-Star Game. Newman holds the high school record for leading career rebounding with 848 and she scored 1,081 career points. Newman plans to student Veterinary Technology while attending Edison State, with plans to eventually become a Veterinarian.
