Game One: Edison State 10, Cuyahoga 3
Edison State broke things open with a five-run fourth inning and never looked back in a 10-3 win to open the day.
Taylor Bauer led the offensive charge, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Izzy Holp added a strong performance at the plate, finishing 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Mackenzie Byrne contributed a triple and drove in two runs.
The Lady Chargers tallied 11 hits and took advantage of three Cuyahoga errors to build their lead, adding four more runs in the sixth inning to put the game out of reach.
In the circle, Marissa Pine was dominant, tossing a complete game. Pine allowed just three hits and no earned runs while striking out 10 to improve to 9-2 on the season.
