Bauer Named OCCAC Softball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College freshman Taylor Bauer (Bellmont HS) the OCCAC Softball Player of the Week for March 16-23, 2026.

Bauer went 9-for-12 (.750) at the dish, with more than half going for extra bases as she connected on three doubles, a triple, and a home run for a 1.417 slugging percentage. She also scorched the base paths to the tune of five runs and four stolen bases.

The Lady Chargers are currently 7-5 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
