Chatterton, Hodge Named OCCAC Athletes of the Week
The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College sophomore Ashlyn Chatterton (Carlisle HS) the OCCAC Softball Position Player of the Week and freshman Zoey Hodge (Northmont HS) the OCCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for May 5, 2025.

This is Chatterton's first Player of the Week recognition while Hodge completes a season bookend—both opening (March 3) and closing (May 5) the season as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.
Chatterton went 7-of-8 with two doubles, three runs, and five RBI during three wins for the Lady Chargers. She was a perfect 4-4 with two doubles and four RBI in the OCCAC title-clinching doubleheader sweep over Terra State.
Hodge blanked the opposition for 10 innings across a pair of 5-inning complete games. She gave up just six hits and three walks while striking out a total of nine batters.
The Lady Chargers finished the regular season 24-8 overall and 10-2 in the conference. They begin postseason play on Thursday, May 8.
