Dirksen is the third Lady Charger to earn Softball Player of the Week in 2025, joining Emma Kamerer (March 3) and Abigail Kadel (March 31). The first baseman drove in multiple runs four times during a 6-0 week for Edison State. She totaled a dozen RBI, powered by a home run in back-to-back-to-back games and a pair of doubles. Dirksen reached base nine times, coming around to score eight times.
Pine had a busy week—coming up one inning shy of three consecutive complete games. She earned the win in all three starts, striking out 28 batters across 19 total innings. Pine allowed no more than two runs (one earned) in any of the starts while racking up double-digit Ks twice. Her dominant week included just eight total hits and two walks.
The Lady Chargers are currently 16-8 overall and 11-3 in the conference.
