Kamerer, Hodge Named OCCAC Players of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College freshman Emma Kamerer (Canal Winchester HS) the OCCAC Softball Position Player of the Week and freshman Zoey Hodge (Northmont HS) the OCCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for March 3, 2025.

Kamerer went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBI in a doubleheader against Wilmington University JV. She also scored a run, laid down a sacrifice bunt, and recorded three put-outs at second base.

Hodge took to the circle in both contests, including a 7-inning win in Game Two. In total, the freshman chewed up 10 innings, striking out three batters and recording three assists.

The Lady Chargers are currently 1-1 overall.
