Shaffer Named OCCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Association (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Grace Shaffer (Greenville HS) an OCCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for March 28­­–April 3, 2022.

Shaffer picked up the win and her second weekly honor after surrendering a lone earned run in the Lady Chargers' narrow 5-4 triumph over Miami University–Middletown. Shaffer scattered five hits and three walks while striking out three batters.

The Edison State softball team is 12-6-3 overall and 2-1-1 in the conference.
