The Lady Chargers Defeat the University of Dayton Club

The Edison State Lady Chargers softball team hosted the University of Dayton Club team Friday night, winning both games of the DH, 16-2 and 8-1.

The Edison State Lady Chargers softball team hosted the University of Dayton Club team Friday night, winning both games of the DH, 16-2 and 8-1. Kayla Runyon (Tipp City) was the winning pitcher and had two hits at the plate in game one. Sidney Unger (Tipp City) also had two hits, and Hanna DeLong (Mechanicsburg) homered.
 
In game two, DeLong homered again. Morgan Pine (Graham) had two hits and won her first career game pitching a complete game. Nyesha Wright (Greenville) had two hits as well. Allie Dodge (Wayne) had three hits for the Lady Chargers. They are now 7-6-2 on the season and host Miami University–Middletown Wednesday, March 30, in a DH starting at 4:15.
