Curry Named OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Edison State Community College freshman Devonte Curry (Briggs HS) an OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week for February 13–19, 2023.

Curry was a walking bucket this past week, totaling 76 points in two games (38.0/g). He knocked down 28-of-49 (57%) from the floor and 11-of-21 (52%) beyond the arc. Curry added nine more points at the charity stripe, eight rebounds, six steals, and five assists. He shoved in 47 points during the Chargers' 101-94 victory over Community Christian.

The Chargers are 13-15 overall and 5-10 in the OCCAC.
