No. 13 Edison State Falls to Lakeland CC in District Semi-Finals

The No. 13 nationally-ranked Edison State men's basketball team suffered an 84-73 loss in the semifinals of the district tournament to Lakeland Community College.

The Chargers were led by Lacey Watson (Davenport North HS) who had a double-double with 24 points and 19 rebounds. Also scoring in double figures was Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) with 22 points. The Chargers end their season 26-5 overall and 12-4 in conference play. 

"We want to thank everyone who has followed us all year and supported us," said head coach Kyle Vanover. "We really appreciate it!"

The Chargers will begin their 2019-20 season in November.
