The number 16 Edison State men's basketball team suffered their first loss of February to conference opponent Lakeland Community College falling short by one point at 80-79.
The Chargers were led by Lacey Watson (Davenport North HS) with 21 points. Also in double figures were Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) with 14 points and James Richardson, Jr. (Beechcroft HS) With 10 points.
The Chargers drop to 24-5 overall and 11-4 in conference play. The team returns home next Saturday against conference opponent Cuyahoga Community College at 3:00 p.m.
