Chargers Win on the Road

The Edison State men's basketball team picked up their 17th win on the road Wednesday night 71-66 over the Lakers of Lakeland Community College.

It was an outstanding performance defensively in the first half that gave the Chargers the edge as they allowed the Lakers only 26 points in the first half. In the second half, the Chargers had to adjust offensively as the Lakers mixed it up defensively. The Chargers came through on the free throw line shooting 90% as a team topping their previous best on the season. 

Jacob Rogan (Bellefontaine HS) led all scorers tonight with 21 points followed by Darryl Robinson (Bowsher HS) with 13 points and Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) with 12 points. 

The 17-11 chargers return to action Saturday as they host #2 in the Nation Cuyahoga Community College at 3:00 p.m.
