Chargers Earn OCCAC All-Ohio Honors
Malik Thurman and Jalen Hearn earn postseason honors.

Recently finishing out their season with postseason tournament play, two Edison State Community College men's basketball players have been named recipients of post-season awards from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for the 2015-16 season.
Malik Thurman (Stebbins HS) earned First Team All-OCCAC honors, leading the league in scoring with 19.9 points per game and finishing in the top 10 in rebounding with 7.5 rebounds per game. Thurman also reached the 1,000-point mark during his two-year career at Edison State.
Earning Honorable Mention All-OCCAC honors for the Charger men is Jalen Hearn (Westerville North HS) who played a solid season earning 18.2 points per game.
The men's basketball team finished out the season 12-19 overall and 3-11 in their conference.
