Game 1: Edison State 16, Lakeland 9
The Chargers erupted for 16 runs on 18 hits to take game one of the doubleheader.
Parker Shannon led the offensive surge, going 3-for-3 with a home run, five runs scored, and two RBIs. Karson Adkins added two doubles and four RBIs, while Jackson Clark and Marcus O'Neal each recorded three hits. Tyler Raker and Kael Starks contributed two RBIs apiece.
Edison State broke the game open with an eight-run sixth inning to create separation.
On the mound, Breyton Reisinger earned the win, while Hayden Van Hoose secured the save.
Game 2: Edison State 10, Lakeland 0 (5 innings)
The Chargers carried momentum into game two, earning a 10-0 run-rule victory.
Shannon stayed hot at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Clark added three hits, and Ryan Dugger, O'Neal, and Starks each drove in runs.
Edison State plated six runs in the third inning to take control early and never looked back.
On the mound, Adkins and Burke Lillard combined for a two-hit shutout, striking out six batters over five innings.
