Shannon Named OCCAC Baseball Player of the Week

The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference has named Edison State Community College freshman Parker Shannon (Beavercreek HS) the OCCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week for April 14-20, 2025.

Shannon hit .533 (8-15) for the week, including a half dozen RBI in two tightly contested games against conference unbeaten Cuyahoga. The shortstop added some pop with two doubles, a triple, and a home run to slug an even 1.000. He also came around to score eight times after swiping three bases.

The Chargers are currently 10-23 overall and 7-13 in the conference.
