Schmidt Joins Edison State Baseball Team

Jacob Schmidt of Cincinnati, Ohio, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Edison State Community College beginning in the fall of 2016. Currently a senior at Colerain High School, Schmidt is a left-handed pitcher and outfielder for the Cardinals. This summer, Schmidt will play for the Cincinnati Hornets who are coached by former Cincinnati Red Chris Sexton. He will pursue an Associate of Science while attending Edison State.
