The Edison State women defeated Lorain County Community College on Saturday at home in OCCAC play 81-52. Edison State improved to 22-4 on the season and 9-3 in league play with the win.
Five Chargers were in double figures. Sarah Pothast (Wapakoneta HS) led with 19 points, Clair Schmitmeyer (Versailles HS) scored 15 points to go along with 11 rebounds, Kayla Tullis (Graham HS) had 12 points, and Kennadie Reese (Jackson Center HS) and Kailani Broyles (Massillon Washington HS) both pitched in 10 points.
The Chargers now look forward to hosting Sinclair Community College on Monday, February 18th in a conference battle.
