Lady Chargers Win at Home

The Edison State Community College women defeated Cincinnati Christian University JV Monday night 84-32.

The Chargers' defense held CCU to 20-percent shooting for the game. Sarah Pothast (Wapakoneta HS) led the team with 20 points. Clair Schmitmeyer (Versailles HS) and Marin Reis (Dayton Christian HS) both had 11 points for Edison State. Kailani Broyles (Massillon Washington HS) also scored 10 in the victory.

The Chargers are now 16-3 on the season with a crucial OCCAC game at home Wednesday against Sinclair Community College.
