Cuyahoga Community College Captures Lead Early to Defeat Edison State

Edison State Community College fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-0 loss to Cuyahoga Community College on Friday. Cuyahoga Community College took the lead on an in the first inning.

The Chargers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Cuyahoga Community College, giving up 12 runs.

Cuyahoga Community College got on the board in the first inning. 

Lyndsey Baglia was on the rubber for Cuyahoga Community College. She allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Maddy Collier was in the circle for Edison State. She lasted four innings, allowing 17 hits and 11 runs while striking out one and walking zero. Alexis Romine threw one inning out of the bullpen. 

Cuyahoga Community College tallied 22 hits on the day. Megan Mulhan, Daniele Rivera, Cassandra Fredrick, Hailey Hujer, Breanna Musick, Lopez, and Lexi Rhem each had multiple hits for Cuyahoga Community College. Mulhan went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Cuyahoga Community College in hits. Cuyahoga Community College didn't commit a single error in the field. Mulhan had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
