Lindsey Albers and Karly Richards from Minster High School have signed national letters of intent to join the Edison State Community College softball team.

Lindsey Albers (3B) "Lindsey is a fearless defender at third but also athletic enough to play other positions," said Head Coach Dan Cain. "She comes from a good program and will be able to help us right away."

"We are looking forward to Lindsey walking the halls at Edison State as well as getting her uniform dirty for the Chargers. She is another student-athlete that will be going into the nursing program.

Albers and Richards are two of twelve student-athletes that will join the Edison State Community College softball program next year.

Karly Richards (MIF)  "We're very excited to add Karly to our program," said Head Coach Dan Cain. "She's another student-athlete that will excel in the classroom as well as the field."

"Her versatility will be a big asset for us next year. She is a middle infielder that can also play outfield and catcher," said Cain of Richards' ability.

"She is a coach's daughter with a high softball IQ, she hits, runs, and can play defense. Karly comes from a good program and family."
