Charger Men Receive NJCAA Top 20 National Ranking After Going 13-2

The Edison State Community College men's basketball team received national recognition this past week by being voted 19th in the nation in the latest NJCAA polls.

The Chargers took the floor again Friday night to win their 13th game of the season defeating the Barons of OSU Lima 103-58.

"It's rewarding to see how much our team is improving after only a narrow victory in our first outing in Lima. Our guys are playing together and are beginning to see what we can accomplish if we do it collectively," commented coach Hickman. The Chargers chalked up 25 team assists on the evening.

Darryl Robinson (Toledo Bowsher HS) scored 18 points for the Chargers this evening and Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS) closely followed with 17 points, but also added 6 boards and 5 assists to his efforts.
