The Edison State men's basketball team won their eighth game of the season defeating Cedarville JV 110-65 on Wednesday, December 5 on the road.
The Jackets of Cedarville kept it close early connecting on several first-half threes, but the Chargers pressure forced turnovers that led to a 15 point intermission lead. The second half was all Edison State as the Chargers doubled their lead in the first 5 minutes and never looked back.
Edison State had seven players in double-figure scoring with Dakota Prichard (Spencerville HS) leading in that column with 12 points on 4-threes. Darryl Robinson (Toledo Bowsher HS), Romello Yaqub (Troy HS) and Jalen Elliott (Toledo Bowsher HS) all scored 11 points while Hadith Tiggs (Wayne HS), Caleb Maggard (Oak Hill HS) and Nick Thompson (Miami Valley Saints) each added 10 apiece.
Edison State moves to 8-2 on the year. The Chargers will return to action at Clark State Community College on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
