Chargers Take Two Wins Over OU-Chillicothe

The nightcap saw the Chargers staying hot at the plate. Multiple players recorded multi-hit game including Brandt CronebachAlex MurphyMatt Peterangelo, and José Adorno.

Adorno finished the day going 3-3 with a1b, 3b, and a home run with 5 rbi's and 4 runs scored. Adorno is hitting a cool 1.000 on the season and a slugging percentage of an incredible 3.000. Also, 2nd yr SS Keith Olmo showed outstanding situational hitting with two sacrifices and a 2b resulting in 3rbi's.

On the mound, Marcus Johnson recorded the 2nd no-hitter in school history. Johnson nearly recorded a perfect game with only two walks standing in the way. Johnson went 5 innings striking out 7 while giving up no runs.

The Chargers won the game 17-0 after 5 innings due to run rule.  

Next, the Chargers take on Wright State University–Lake at home on Saturday and are at Ohio State University-Lima on Sunday. Both are doubleheaders starting at 1 p.m.
